- Before shipping any feature, review the entire experience, not only the main screen.
User Understanding
- Can a first-time user understand what this does?
- Are the next steps obvious?
- Are labels clear and human?
Interaction Quality
- Does every action provide feedback?
- Are hover, focus, active, and loading states designed?
- Does the interface feel responsive?
Error Handling
- What happens when something fails?
- Can users recover without starting over?
- Are error messages actionable?
Edge Cases
- What happens with:
- Long names?
- Missing data?
- Empty states?
- Slow networks?
- Large numbers?
- Unexpected input?
Accessibility
- Does it work with keyboard?
- Are focus states visible?
- Is contrast sufficient?
- Can users understand it without color?
Responsive Behavior
- Does it work on all screen sizes?
- Do layouts adapt intentionally?
- Are mobile interactions redesigned instead of compressed?
A feature is ready when the normal path and the unusual paths both feel designed.
